(most of the information presented in this post has been given by Brig and his interviewing skills)

(Problem)

So recently new players have been joining the server, but they have a hard time getting started because they only get 1-2 scrap or chems from the nodes because they dont have high level scavenging, and they get killed easily by dogs and ants (ive seen it). So they rely on the charity of other server regulars to get them started.

(Suggestion)

Brig suggested a admin-only spawn able starter pack (they are admins anyways they can just spawn themselves resources or turn admin nocost on). I would have suggested a "Tier" system of spawning where the spawn would have easy to kill mobs that don't give too much exp, and at a lvl 5 full bar of sprint away from spawn mole rats and dogs would spawn, then even farther would be ghouls and rad scorps   then in the "mid" tier area there would be combine drops and Big radscorps. then at the farthest reaches of the map there would be very difficult mobs ( Yao Guai, Comglo drops that have guardians in them and other hard-hitting juggernauts).

(Suggestion # 2) maybe up the node resources and add some of the suggestions?  (bast nodes give 10-20 of each res at the least and 50-85 at the most?)

That would turn the server into more of a dungeon explore than a free to explore map. Making less arpee which I believe to be Bizzy's biggest goal for the server.

When I see this if I try to join the server, it comes as a relief to me. Relief of not being afraid of being framed for tons of shit I didn't do. Relief for not being afraid of messing up a rule. Relief for not having to deal with the admins of Frostburnt. And relief to go to a server where my shots kill stuff, people don't hate me for no reason, and where I can do whatever I want and be treated like a normal person, not a rat held under a microscope under so much pressure to not mess up.

User has been permanatly banned from these forums for the reason "Doesn't want to be here" by Bizzclaw - Honestly I should of banned you a long time ago. And you say you're tired of being treated like "A rat under a microscope"? Sorry, but you've duped, exploited and RDM'd. What did you expect?

If it was a dungeon explorer we wouldent have the sky, the whole reason is, if its harder to play the less pleayers we have the less players = dead server dead sever= no server no server= dead community no community means all of the regulars dont have a place to meet up at.

Its just to make it easier for new players to actually enjoy themselves and attract them to stay.

I didn't mean dungeon explorer in that sense I meant it as. People instead of doing whatever they wanted like they should. Would try to beat different enemies of different difficulties for different rewards (xp) Not the fact that they are underground .-.

This is more of a problem of resource scaling than it is a problem about new players having too hard of a time.

Getting 1 chem per node is not a problem. It's a wasteland, you should expect that.

However, when somebody else a few levels up can get 100+ chems from a node, that's where the problem arises.

This causes a large inflation in resources from higher players while lower players get the short end of the stick and have to deal with their hard earned valuables being not worth anything.

My suggestion: Reduce max resource gain for higher levels while slightly increasing gains for lower levels.
