When the resources in noded were reduced and the chance of finding resources in a node I have lvl 5 scavenging and I get 10 resources per node Imagine new players trying to get started getting 2 resources per node that's going to be very hard to start with, it'll take about 50 nodes to get 100 of that resource I think if this change stays the server will eventually die.

I didn't change the base values, I only lowered the multipliers from levels slightly. I'm not sure why you're only getting 10, the formula was only slightly changed so you're probably exaggerating or very unlucky. I've already posted the formula, but here, have it again

I actually don't see what is the problem with the nodes now that I went on last night. Seems normal how it always is. I got level 6 Scavenging and I still get what I normally get so maybe you guys are getting really unlucky or something because I got 60-90 of each (90 if I am lucky) and I am not a donater.

In response to the title: Quite the opposite.

Every single server I've seen die was a response to not enough change, never from too much.

I did. I just didn't feel like responding to the post because there's really nothing to respond to. If you don't want people responding to the title, don't make a title that doesn't represent your OP.

By the looks of it you didn't read the first five words of my post either.

Omega, you're pointing out the obvious. Of course no change would bring about boredom, it's common knowledge. You might as well have just said the sky is blue, or that there are a lot of fish in the sea.

Better yet, seeing as you said Pavel's post was "Nothing to respond to." You might as well have just responded to it anyway, because it would have been just as worth it as stating the obvious. Besides that, did it ever occur to you that the title was just worded wrong? I think what Pavel meant was "THIS change will kill the server'.

I've noticed that the resource counts have been really low while I'm scavenging too. Maybe an easy solution would be to just split the difference and put the multiplier right between what it is and what it was.
