PostSubject: Binoculars and Scuba Gear   Sun Mar 01, 2015 5:49 pm

I am not one to be on a servers forums, but I just wanted to get this idea out there. When you look at someone with a sniper, it shoes their name. I usually don't like to pull out my sniper and see who it is from far away, so I thought "Hey, why not get a set of binoculars which would be cheaper then a sniper rifle". Well, that's one idea. My other one is a scuba gear. Something that can make you breath underwater longer. Well, uh, I didn't really get into specifics I just thought if you guys had spare time or share my ideas of these possible items, you could create them!

I've always wanted someway to see someones name from a distance without looking like i want to kill them.
+Support on that idea, however i feel scuba gear might be abused with underwater bases or something.

I suggested a scuba gear/respirator item already, and I support that Idea, but binoculars aren't really necessary. Just bind a key to Suit Zoom.

having good rp doesnt make one fit for staff duties, especially if said people are always playing with the same small group of people and no one else. staying in an echo chamber only makes your own words reflected back to you and whoever else is in the chamber. people applying for staff need to not only know the staff, but also how the playerbase can react to interactions between itself, the general staff base and the applicant

Well, you can't use suit zoom to see the names of people from a distance.

I like the idea of binoculars, but I've never really had a reason to make them when we had suit zoom, however you bring up a good point of needing to spot someone without aiming a gun at them, so I'll probably start working on that after I finish up the community systems.

As far as underwater bases and scuba gear goes, it does sound rather interesting, but I'm probably just saying that because I've been playing  a lot of Subnautica lately. Also, that brings up another point, it would not be difficult to make certain weapons work underwater, such as pistols. This would be pretty interesting actually.

Like this idea. I think most everything except energy weapons would work underwater (In a real-life situation), aside from the M79.

Well having a underwater base would be nice, cause then no one can kill each other, kind of like a safezone in some sort of way.
