PostSubject: [Suggestion] Changes to Community   Sat Apr 04, 2015 11:53 am

I think the leader of the community should be able to determine every right a community member has, this might be hard to explain but think of it like this.

A menu comes up when you click a "rights" button next to a members name
The menu has check-boxes with certain rights next to them
You could give someone the right to kick members, but not recruit members. Or you could let someone have access to the community stockpile but not the equipment lockers. There would be many different possibility's with this method and you wouldn't have to give someone the right to collapse your community if they wanted to recruit new members. You should also be able to make 10 ranks with rights given upon promotion. For instance as rank 1 (Recruit) you could change the name to something like Private, this rank would have no rights or you could change it so they can kick members or even get in the stockpile ( which is rediculous but you would still have the option to do it) Then rank 2 is corporal and they have no rights except getting in the equipment locker. I'm going to post Microsoft paint pictures to better explain this. (CLEARLY YOU WOULD NOT WANT RANK 1's TO HAVE ACCESS TO EVERYTHING I AM JUST PUTTING THIS AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO)

*I hope I explained this well and please give me feedback or suggestions on this idea*

That's a great idea. It would give communities greater versatility when it comes to community roles. That way they can have someone who can recruit, but cannot promote or demote or place down the stockpile in case they're a traitor.

exactly what I was aiming for, I also forgot that you should not be able to promote higher then you current rank or equal to. And you shouldn't be able to demote higher than your rank

I really like this idea, because as of right now factions are pretty locked down chain of command wise, and although you can set names for people in the faction, they don't get the benefits a true higher rank would. Also this allows for real commands to be issued to lower tier members, because if you're both rank one in the faction the lower leveled person doesn't need to listen to you without penalties.Great idea, hope this get implemented.

I like this idea, makes it easier to determine what ranks can and cannot do.

If there is a way to make this happen i am all for it. Very Happy

*Bump* It would be nice if we got some confirmation on this. It seems everyone has bombarded this idea with support, however if a developer already had an idea in mind I'm fine if this get declined.

I won't be working on this as I'm putting most of my effort into the new gamemode. Rest assured however, the new gamemode will support a system sort of like this.

Alright thanks. Glad to hear we will have more customization in the future.
