 What's with the hl2 models?

PostSubject: What's with the hl2 models?   Tue Dec 08, 2015 3:53 pm

So I've seen a lot of people use hl2 models, are they allowed back in now?
I mean I've seen non staff players use it. I'm wondering this because I want to completely remake my pac and
can't do it because no other server uses the models this one does and i'm banned for now.

Are they combat restricted though? I asked Bizz, and he said something about the pac hitboxes being locked within a certain scale so that it was alright. It was hard to get an direct answer.

having good rp doesnt make one fit for staff duties, especially if said people are always playing with the same small group of people and no one else. staying in an echo chamber only makes your own words reflected back to you and whoever else is in the chamber. people applying for staff need to not only know the staff, but also how the playerbase can react to interactions between itself, the general staff base and the applicant

they should be combat restricted the hitbox is fucked no matter what, even if you scale it up headshots and anything above the torso barely reg

Yummy, the only reason that would happen is if people scale their bones instead of using he actual scaling methods.

I guess we should add this to the rules: unless they're scaled with the entity scaling option to a height that's the same as a fallout model (around 1.15), they aren't usable in combat.
