Hey guys, I think something that would be great to add are drugs! They could be made in chem labs by scientists, and have different effects. all drugs would give XP, but some would heal, some would give a huge regen bonus, hallucinations, rads, or just a random effect. I think that drugs, (especially if they're deemed illegal and raidable) could add to the RPs, as well as give XP without as much grind, delicious!

+ you could get addicted to the drugs and that would slowly kill you, so then we could laugh at the people who get addicted.

I dont mean like darkRP drugs, that would be terrible. I just think that having hallucinatory and addictive drugs could add to the RP ambience or whatever to the server, and since they're bad for you big groups like BoS could outlaw them, etc etc.

You can get addicted, then you would slowly die if you do not take the drug in time, every time you take the drug it slows down the dieing process, or even heals you from the dieing effect

Fallout drugs were a WIP, even n game at one point (jet boosted stam recov). But they werent tested well and they've probably been shuffled in the back

It would be nice to get some drugs. Psycho = +melee, Jet = Stamina buff, Med-x = dam resist, etc. etc. Would help add some economy values and perhaps, dare I say it, "Junkie RP".

they had drugs but they didn't really function well, and weren't tested,as stormy said, after a while, but if the raiders(whose very code was barely fixed and we get them now in the wastelands)can happen, then i'm sure drugs will come soon, it would help with those who don't necessarily like scaving for everything to buy a PA or normal armor. But it would screw up the server's economy for a while, cause you'd need to set prices and base prices for a certain drug and there's a lot of drugs in the fallout universe. i could see chems(they are called chems in the fallout lore, DarkRP uses drugs) in the future but for now, i don't think this is gonna be a thing that bizz will work on.

I finally implemented the Jet drug I made over a year ago, of course I gave it the same animation treatment I gave Stimpak's and Antidotes.

I was holding off on adding it because I wanted to add Brahmin as a way to obtain it, but that has so many issues in itself that I decided to just say "whatever" and now it can be crafted by Scientists.

Also, if you're on the server and Jet isn't in the crafting menu, it's because the map needs to change for it to update.

You don't need to add effects for jet becuase the server lags all the time making it like time does slow down.

Anyone know any animators? I need a fist person "eating" animation for taking pills or eating food because I eventually want all usable items to have a sort animation.

I already have all the third person animations so I might experiment with playing those animations on your first person body, but it would be better if I could get them to look as nice as the current Stimpak/Jet/Antivenom animations.

By the way, I'm thinking of adding Steady next, It will more or less work in Decay the exact same way as in Postnuke, only thing I want to balance is the time it lasts.

Also, does anyone think an addiction system would be worth working on? It would be nice to add a risk to using combat enhancing chems, but making variables save like that on the player is annoying to say the least.

if you're working on Steady,Bizz, hopefully you could get all of the fallout drugs in-game,eventually, but take your time.
