 [Suggestion]New Power Source?

I was kind of wondering if it would be possible to add a new power source. I hate how i'm limited to 4 types of

power source(Nuclear:Which nobody really has, Fusion:Which can blow up and requires a scientist, Gas:Sort of

expensive not really, mainly very loud and Solar:Which needs to have no roof or it will not work and breaks easily

from guns....)
I was wondering since we have a Solar panel, why not a wind mill which uses wind to power itself

and has an increase in power output during rad storms
, and/or a watermill which needs to be placed halfway in

water to power itself
? Also maybe we could have some kind of generator that mines into the ground looking for

lava and once it finishes, it would be powered; but the generator would require a little power first just to start mining.



Edit: Maybe a biofuel generator too that runs on raw headcrab meat? So headcrab meat would have a real use instead of just being left on the floor.

The water mil seems like a cool idea. However I'm not sure how hard it would be to code.

I could just use the windmill model from spacebuild so that could be doable... How about it generates a bit more or less than solar panels and when it's shot it just stops working like miners, as opposed to blowing up?

That moment when you make your base and set up your windmill and people pull out their rifles and start to take potshots at it. If you wanna make PNRP OMG OOBER SRS ROLEPLAY then make some questions like Clockwork or something. I'm tired of having my solar panels shot up and knifed for no reason at all. Buuuut good thing I have climb SWEP Very Happy

That sounds pretty good, will you make it like the solar panel where it cant have something on the top? If the wind mill cant have anything on the sides blocking it, dont know how people would protect that.

Holy shit. How about a gyro generator? I mean we still don't have a use for gyros, we could make some kind of super generator from the gyros.

Also, we could make it 1 of 2 things. The first would be a perpetual motion generator which would need no fuel, It's power would be something like 500? And also it could be destroyed.

The second would be a pulse generator, this would use the pulse cores in the game for 15 mins of power and it would generate around 1500 or maybe even 2000 power, each pulse core would power it for 10 or 15 minutes.

At least make 1 new generator that doesnt break and just takes damage... we hhaveenough generators that blow up jnto nothingnesa already

Exactly. Generators can turn a small shack into a heavily guarded gold mine. They need to be able to be destroyed.

having good rp doesnt make one fit for staff duties, especially if said people are always playing with the same small group of people and no one else. staying in an echo chamber only makes your own words reflected back to you and whoever else is in the chamber. people applying for staff need to not only know the staff, but also how the playerbase can react to interactions between itself, the general staff base and the applicant
