This tool would make the efficiency of turrets muchs more useful, this would go to the power source (e.g Generator) and would toggle the generator power if a player was within a certain radius (standard turret radius +5m?), this wouldnt make anything stronger but would make fueling the generator more efficient.

Instead of: <Generator> - <Turret> (bad fuel efficiency)

It would be: (Sensor) - <generator> - <Turret>

And because the generator only uses fuel if toggled, this would mean it saves fuel when it is not toggled.

the sensor could have the same input as a turret in the way that it only sends a toggle if a certain player is nearby or a whitelist that it targets all but a few players.

How would it be powered? My guess would be either a self-sustaining power source or solar power.
