 Scavenger Tools/Melee Weapons

I was just thinking that expanding on the idea that the scavenger is able to more effectively recover resources and such from resource spawns, why not add special tools or devices that boost the efficiency of that even more? Maybe tying them with the Scavenger's pre-existing skill. Plus Scavenger gets nothing.....and.....my brain dinged and I must flush out this inspiration to make room for now thoughts.

Blow Torch

Used for : Collecting Scrap
Crafted with : Fuel Tank (Engineer x1) | Oxygen Tank (Engineer x1) | Tip & Trigger (Engineer x1) | VALVes (Scientist x4)
Blowtorch Fuel (Scientist : Comes in sets of 10)
How it might work :
Primary Fire : Bash it into something for below average damage
Secondary Fire : Per every few seconds a single unit of Blowtorch Fuel will be consumed, the speed at which the scrap is collect is vastly increased along with the overall profit, however the fuel is expensive to manufacture.

Jaws-Of-Life

Used for : Collecting Scrap
Crafted with : Hydraulic Equipment (Engineer x5) | Pistons (Engineer x1) | Lever (Engineer x1)
How it might work:
Primary Fire : Crush your enemies to death with over 14,400 pounds of force.
Secondary Fire : Works identically to the blowtorch but has no ammunition requirement and is horrendously inefficient by comparison.
Special Notes : This manly piece of machinery takes up 50 weight slots.

Bizz-Army-Knife

Used for : Collecting Small Parts & Infinite Flashlight
Crafted with : Knife (Random Drop x1) | Bottle Opener (Random Drop x1) | Screwdriver (Random Drop x1) | Digital Altimeter (Random Drop x1) | LED Light (Random Drop x1) | Laser Pointer (Random Drop x1) | Pliers (Random Drop x1) | Scissors (Random Drop x1) | Bit Driver (Random Drop x1) | Butane Lighter (Random Drop x1) | Can Opener (Random Drop x1) | Cap Opener (Random Drop x1) | Spork (Random Drop x1) | Fish Scaler (Random Drop x1) | Orange Peeler (Random Drop x1) | Ruler-Screwdriver (Random Drop x1) | Universal Wrench (Random Drop x1)
How it might work :
Primary Fire : Percent chance to use a different attack per tool.
Secondary Attack : Very slowly (Slower than normal scavenging) pick through a Small Parts spawn, but gain nearly quadruple profit.
Special Notes : Second most difficult tool to obtain in the game.

Soldering Kit

Used for : Collecting Small Parts
Crafted with : Lead (Random Drop x5) | Sponge (Random Drop x1) | De-Solder (Scientist x5) | Plastics (Scientist x5)
How it might work :
Primary Fire : Jab someone with a 340 degree iron rod that has the potential to torch you.
Secondary Fire : Same function as the Bizz-Army-Knife, but much quicker and less efficient

Portable Centrifuge

Used for : Collecting Chemicals
Crafted with : Cylindrical Components (Engineer x3) | Small Motor (Engineer x1) | HUD Interface (I forgot which class can already craft this x1) | List of chemical equations so complex that your tiny mind can not comprehend this elusive thing known as...SCIENCE! (Scientist x1)
Primary Fire : Hit someone in the face with something that looks somewhat like a rice cooker.
Secondary Fire : Collect ten times as many chemicals as normal at an agonizingly slow pace.

Sonic Screwdriver

Used for : Collecting EVERYTHING
Crafted with : N/A
Primary Fire : Pew Pew
Secondary Fire : Collect Objects 20% quicker
Special Notes : There is a one in one googolplex chance this will drop from a Ghoul.

You sir just wrote a lot of ideas.... Most of this should be possible, but James is working on a lot of projects right now, so I'm not sure if he will have time to do this. The ideas are great and maybe after James is done with his current projects he could work on this.

having good rp doesnt make one fit for staff duties, especially if said people are always playing with the same small group of people and no one else. staying in an echo chamber only makes your own words reflected back to you and whoever else is in the chamber. people applying for staff need to not only know the staff, but also how the playerbase can react to interactions between itself, the general staff base and the applicant

Actually, there's already a Sonic Screwdriver swep in the Gmod workshop. You don't have to bend to copyright rules if you're not making money or profiting in any way from the company's ideas.
